Working with WCFCG

WCFCG is a not for profit network of organisations committed to improving quality of corporate governance world-wide. It is very protective of its independence and for this purpose does not accept donations. All its activities are, therefore, handled by volunteers, who are only paid expenses. We believe in widening the role of corporate governance to make it an instrument for economic social transformation. The variety and richness of the Council's work and its reach offers a huge opportunity for those who want to make a difference in corporate and public life by making it more equitable, transparent and accountable. This will naturally include business leaders, corporate governance experts, social entrepreneurs and business graduates desirous of involving themselves in voluntary work before starting a commercial career.

There are opportunities for interns to assist in the organisation and coordination of Council's events.

At the moment there are opportunities for volunteering for coordination of the following events:-

3. 7^th International Conference on Corporate Governance, London, 11-12 May 06
4. 8^th World Congress on Environment Management, S M Convention Centre, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India, 9 - 11 June 2006
